Privacy Policy

This is a placeholder policy that covers the basics for a static affiliate site. Review it with a lawyer before going live in jurisdictions with strict data laws (EU/UK GDPR, California CPRA, etc.).

1. Who we are

DailyDealz.tv ("we", "us") operates this website at the URL you're viewing now. We are an independent affiliate publisher and are not affiliated with Amazon.com, Inc. or its subsidiaries.

2. What we collect

We collect a minimal amount of information when you use the site:

• Visit analytics. When you load a deal page, we record the page identifier, your browser user-agent string, your IP address, and the time of the visit. We use this to count views, reveals, and Amazon click-throughs per deal so we know what to feature.
• Newsletter signups. If you submit your email through the newsletter form, we store it so we can send you fresh-deal emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
• Contact form submissions. If you send us a message, we store the name, email, and message text so we can reply.

We do not collect government-issued IDs, payment card numbers, or any sensitive personal data. We do not sell your data.

3. Cookies and similar storage

We use the browser's localStorage to remember your theme preference (light or dark) and to keep a local record of any email you've already submitted to our newsletter form. These are stored on your device and never sent to us automatically.

4. Third-party links and services

Our deal pages link out to Amazon.com using affiliate links. When you click through, Amazon may set its own cookies and collect data according to Amazon's Privacy Notice. We have no control over their data practices.

The site may also load third-party fonts and icons (Google Fonts, FontAwesome CDN). Those providers see your IP address when their files are requested.

5. Data retention

Analytics events are retained while they're useful for product decisions, typically for up to 12 months. Newsletter subscriber emails are retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are deleted after a reply has been sent or after 90 days of inactivity, whichever comes first.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@example.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

7. Children

DailyDealz.tv is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
